An-12PP/BK-PPS (NATO codename Cub-C) – special version of the famous An-12BK transport aircraft, modified to provide an electronic interference capability with the purpose of disabling the adversary's air defense systems. In total about 100 An-12PP and An-12BK-PPS machines were produced in the 1970s. Some of them are still in service in the Russian Air Force today. Apart from the USSR, several An-12BK-PPS were sold to India. Due to its great secrecy, during Soviet times the aircraft remained unpublicized. Some of its special equipment is still highly sensitive.
